This coordinated ceramic set pairs the Owl Feather Tumbler with the Watchful Owl Tray. Both pieces feature a large owl built from dense black-and-ivory carving, with layered feathers, rounded eyes, and repeating linework carried across the two forms. The matching imagery gives the set a strong visual unity, while the tumbler and tray can be used together for drinks and small accompaniments or displayed as a complete decorative pairing.
Every EBMing piece begins with an original design, with the carving, coloring, and finishing completed entirely by hand. Each piece is fired at 1240°C, preserving the depth of the carved surface and the subtle variations that naturally come from handwork.

Form & Aesthetics
I have always been inspired by the small lives around us—birds among branches, butterflies passing through flowers, and animals moving through worlds we often overlook. Rather than recreating them exactly as they appear in nature, I capture their impressions through simplified forms, hand-carved lines, and imagined colors, giving each piece its own character and feeling.
For me, clay is a way to preserve these moments of connection with nature. Every mark left by the hand and every unique shape gives the work a sense of life and warmth. Through EBMing Studio, I hope to create objects that bring curiosity, joy, and a closer appreciation of the beautiful lives that surround us.
