This ceramic plate brings together several stylized magpies among layered leaves, flowers, feathers, and geometric forms. Coral orange, teal, and soft grey accents move across the deep black surface, while the pale carved lines bind the composition into a dense, circular rhythm. The birds face different directions and overlap with the surrounding growth, giving the plate the feeling of a small gathering hidden within the forest.
Every EBMing piece begins with an original design, with the carving, coloring, and finishing all completed by hand. The studio does not copy nature exactly, but reshapes familiar plants and living forms into patterns with their own rhythm and character. Each piece is fired at 1240Β°C, preserving the depth of the carved lines, the richness of the hand-applied color, and the subtle variations that make every piece slightly different.
